Fortuna Magus Story Guide

These are my actual notes from the game. Unlike most walkthroughs, this guide is not polished. I also skipped the storyline so you can enjoy the game more.

I placed some tags which I normally use in playing RPG's. (W) stands for weapon. (B) stands for body armor. (A) for accessory.

No.00 Destiny Calls

No.01 Farewell, Raydif
Items: 50G, Miracle Juice, Wing of Life, 100G, Dagger(W), Short Bow(W)

No.02 The Village Flam
Things to do before Main quest:
Talk to the blue cat on the left. You'll receive "Fast" (Award).
Complete the "Steal the Savings" and "Steal Back the Savings" subquests.

Main Quest:
Talk to Rett in the 2nd floor of the Inn.

No.03 Mt. Varis
Items: Charm Pebble(A), Bronze Medal x2, Crossbow(W)

Boss: Mountain Boar x2
Drop: Medicinal Herbs x4

No.04 Jeenic Forest
Items: Miracle Juice, Bronze Medal, Magic Guard(A), Long Bow(W)

Boss: Killer Mantis
Steal: Miracle Juice
Drop: Branded Gloves(W), Miracle Juice

No.05 The Town Ranuk
Things to do before Main quest:
Accept the "Magus's Request" subquest.
Complete the "Find Cat's Owner" subquest.
Go to the house in southeast and search the dresser for 200G.

Main Quest:
Go to the guild house at the northeast. The guild owner will give you "Teleport Tome".

No.06 Guild Quest I
Go to Romanoa Way to clear the boss then go back to Lanak.
Items: Bronze Medal, 300G, Panic Guard(A), Stilleto(W)

Boss: Behemoth
Steal: Magestone Shard
Drop: Magestone, Magic Gloves(W)

No.07 Guild Quest II
Things to do before Main quest:
Check out the price of Dragvandil selling at a booth at the north of Lanak.

Main Quest:
Clear out monsters in Durn Cave then go back to Lanak.
Items: Magestone Shard x2, 500G, Sacrifice Doll, Miracle Juice

Boss: Titan Golem
Steal: Magestone Shard
Drop: Ebony Gloves(W), Magestone

No.08 A Sad Mother's Request
Talk to Rett after receiving the request from Rosetta. Head to Armel Road.
Items: Magestone Shard, 700G

No.09 Enabel Forest
Items: Magestone Shard x3, Miracle Juice, Scimitar(W)

Steal: Magestone Shard
Drop: Magestone, Magestone Shard

No.10 Eryuda Orphanage
Control switches to Mitoshiro. From Luxia, head over to Eryuda Orphanage. After story telling, head back to Luxia.

No.11 Escape
Items: Soma, Magestone Shard x3, Water Bow(W), Sacrifice Doll, Magestone, Knight's Sword(W)

Things to do before Main quest:
Accept "Giant Conger" subquest.
Receive "Wise" (Award) and "Juggernaut" (Award).
Check the dresser in the second house from the right. 500G

Main Quest:
Head to Decrepit Library.

No.14 Decrepit Library
Items: Spirit Crystal, Magestone Shard, Sleep Guard, Thorn Staff

No.15 Meld Cavern

Talk to the pharmacist to request a medicine for Amane.

Check the dresser inside the pharmacist's house. 800G
Receive "Smart"(Award)
Complete the "Bunny Boppin'" subquest.
Complete the "Bartender's Quest" subquest.
Complete the "Giant Conger" subquest.
Complete the "Buy Low Sell High" subquest.

Main Quest: Head to Devil's Cove to find a cure.
Items: Magestone Shard x2, Magestone, Stone Guard, Soma, 1000G
